New Pussycat Dolls on Suberbowl Sunday (Video)

For the rock-and-roll group known as the Pussycat Dolls, Sunday will be about more than football and good “old-fashioned” American fun; this Sunday, the singers will appear in a Godaddy Superbowl ad that shows off their newly reformed ensemble. From what has been released by the group, the shakeup is one that is sure to excite fans and take the singers to the next level of their trade.

Coming in to the Pussycat dolls are singers Lauren Bennet, Chrystina Sayers, Paula Van Oppen, Vanessa Curry and Erica Jenkins. The girls were added to the group after months of auditions and tough decision making; creator of the Pussycat Dolls, Robin Antin, states that the change-up was designed to bring in a “…fresh, young energy [to] appeal to [their] young fans…”

Since the Pussycat Dolls formed in 1995, the group has undergone a number of changes; the original group, which Antin formed as a burlesque act included Christina Applegate. It wasn’t until 2003 that The Pussycat Dolls started recording music and released their very first album called “PCD”.
