Black Friday isn’t just for flatscreen TVs and pandemonium over $2 waffle irons at Walmart. The crafts and home goods store JoAnn Fabrics is getting into the action as well, having just released an ad chockfull of deals that might not cause a riot but are worth checking out for craft hobbyists.
There are great deals on gadgets that help crafts projects move ahead with ease, such as a Cricut V1 Personal Electronic Cutter that cuts intricate shapes and designs into fabric. Regularly listed at $199.99, it’s on sale all day on Black Friday for $79.99. There is also a Sew Much More sewing table advertised for $79.99, which is more than half off the regular price. And a Fiskers Fuse Creativity System is advertised at $100 off the regular price.
Doorbuster sales on limited-stock items include 75 percent off on select flannel fabrics, a Singer Tradition 2250 sewing machine for $77.99, and select fabric quarters for up to half off. For three days starting on Black Friday, there will be many more 50-percent-off deals on fabrics, including Sew Classics Apparel Fabrics, Casa Collection Special Occasion Fabrics, and hundreds of choices from Simply Silky Prints.
Some of the biggest sales include Christmas decorations, such as a Holiday Inspirations 7-foot Pre-Lit Slim Christmas Tree for $49.99, which is a savings of $100. Also by Holiday Inspirations is a 48” Scotch Pine Wreath for $29, which is 63 percent off. And shoppers can get select gift wrap, gift bags, bows, ribbons, and lights for half off through Saturday, December 1.
One-day doorbuster sales will be available every day through November 21 and can be found on the JoAnn Fabrics website. Doors will open on Black Friday at 6 a.m. and at 7 a.m. on Saturday, November 24.
